NatHERS rates the thermal performance of a home from zero to ten stars. Under NCC 2022, most states now require a minimum of 7 stars, alongside a Whole-of-Home score.
The cheapest stars usually come from orientation, glazing selection and shading, not from piling on insulation. A well-placed eave or a better glass specification often beats an expensive wall system for cost per star.
We model your design to find the lowest-cost path to the target, then give you a specification you can actually build, rather than an idealised one that blows the budget.
